Ikaruga-Riku

I've been using DeviantArt since about 2004 and I started out posting things that I did for fun. I've since become- and faded from- a professional artist, with my art sometimes used by businesses, schools, and sports teams on their merchandise. I also used to help design, assist in building, and repair professional mascot suits. I'm a freelance artist, and I do commissions of many kinds for anybody, not just for businesses! So feel free to ask me if I'm open. I escaped a negative and dehumanizing petri dish in South Florida in March of 2010 and moved to Pennsylvania to become a better person. It has been a journey. Over the last twelve years mental health and trauma has withered and then crashed my ability to imagine and create, and my overall hand control when I write or draw currently is almost scary to me. Still, every once in a while something comes out fluidly, that I feel at home with. I'll do my best to keep sharing. I currently live with my incredibly wholesome-hearted not-husband, our two cats, dog, and pet rats. Barring mental illness, I am happier now with the family I have built than I have ever been, anywhere else, in my entire life. Front to back, upside down and sideways, globe to discworld.
